The fridge application instance.

A custom init_module is expected to bind this to a fridge variable in the kernel namespace. For backwards compatibility with init_module scripts written before the System Monitor to Fridge rename, a system_monitor variable is used as a fallback, with a deprecation warning - rename it to fridge to silence this warning.
